Intradistrict Transfer

If you live within district boundaries but your student would like to attend a KVUSD school outside of their local attendance area, you must complete an intradistrict transfer request form (even if your student has been attending an out-of-area school). Transfer request forms are due May 31, 2024.

We understand this may be an adjustment for some families, and we will try to accommodate everyone’s requests, but we are legally and ethically bound to follow our board policy and California Education Code to be sure all students have equal access to learning opportunities.
