Cell Phone Policy

Cellular phones or other electronic devices must be turned off and kept out of sight in the student’s backpack or locker during all instructional periods of the school day.

Cellular phones may only be used before school, at break, lunch, and after school.

First Offense

Students seen using or in visible possession of their cell phones during instructional periods of the school day will have their electronic device confiscated and returned at the end of the day.

Second Offense

The device will be confiscated for 5 school days. Parent will be required to pick up the confiscated device after the 5 day period.

Third Offense

The device will be confiscated for the remainder of the school year.

*Using a cell phone or other device capable of taking a video or pictures in a school restroom or locker room will result in a 5-day suspension and a referral to the board of education with a recommendation for expulsion.
