Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Oct. 13
On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Native Peoples, both nationally and within our local community. We recognize the enduring presence and influence of local tribes that continue to shape our community today. At the same time, we acknowledge the painful history of violence, injustice, and discrimination faced by Native Peoples—struggles that persist in many forms today. SSC & ELAC Meeting – Oct. 15
Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Library for our first School Site Council and ELAC Meetings of the year. SSC begins at 4:00 pm, followed by ELAC at 5:00 pm.
Morning Drop-Off
To help improve traffic flow and ensure student safety, we ask that all student drop-offs take place in front of the school. Students are not allowed to leave campus after they are dropped off at the school site. This includes both district transportation and private drop-offs. We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our mornings running smoothly for everyone.
We’re Looking For Subs!
Our district is seeking substitute teachers, custodians, and other support staff. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our team, please contact Lisa at lpendleton@kvusd.org at the District Office for more information.
Blood Drive – Oct. 16
We invite our school community to join us for a Blood Drive on Thursday, October 16th, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Student Center (5480 Main St). Volleyball Senior Night – Oct. 16
Join us on October 16th for our home volleyball game as we celebrate Senior Night! JV plays at 5 PM and Varsity at 6 PM. Come cheer on our athletes and show your support for their hard work and dedication all season long.
Independent Study
If your student will be going on independent study, please provide at least 5 days’ notice. You can contact our attendance secretary, Lori, at Lbour@kvusd.org to make arrangements. Thank you for helping us set your student up for success!
