THANKS FOR A GREAT FIRST WEEK!
Thank you all for a successful first week back at school! I’m looking forward to what the year has in store for us. We’ve loved seeing you walk your child to class during this first week. However, starting next week, we kindly ask that students walk to class on their own.
SCHOOL RULES & TOOLS
Here is some information to help you familiarize yourself with our school practices and procedures.
- Brag Tags – motivational tags given to students to recognize positive behavior
- Bus Passes – If your student rides the bus, they will be provided with a bus pass that they must carry with them and scan each time they get on or off the bus
- Food Cards – Every student is given a card that must be scanned to receive breakfast
- Paw Prints – Paw prints are earned by following our school’s rules. Students can use them to buy prizes and privileges at our Paw store
GET INVOLVED
We need the help of volunteers to create fun events and meaningful experiences for our students. To ensure the safety of our students, the volunteer process includes fingerprinting and a TB test, which are free of cost! Pick up a volunteer application at the district office located at 4410 Konocti Rd, Kelseyville. By becoming a volunteer, you'll have the chance to help out in the classroom, join field trips, and create lasting memories with your child. Don’t miss out on these fun opportunities!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Here are a few exciting things to keep on your radar (more details to come as they get closer).
- Back-to-School Night is on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
- Short Mondays begin on Sept. 23. Students will be released on Mondays at 1:00 pm.
- Picture Day is on Thursday, Oct. 3rd
REMINDER: DROP-OFF TIME AT 7:30 AM
Let’s keep kids safe! Please do not drop off students before 7:30 am since there is no supervision until that time. When you arrive, please help us keep traffic flowing by pulling all the way forward. Because we’re all getting back into the school-year routine, consider giving yourself a bit more time for morning drop-off during the first week or so. If you arrive later than 8:00 am, please check in at the front office.
This year, we’re having students gather in the MUR building in the morning. If you drop your child off between 7:30 am and 7:40 am, please remind them to head to the MUR.
